Ingvar Ambjørnsen is one of Norway’s most prominent writers, author of numerous award-winning books telling the tales of social outsiders and misfits, including the source novel for the Oscar-nominated film, Elling (2000). The film Follows Ambjørnsen from his role as an outcast and provocateur, to his literary success and acceptance in a society that previously gave him the nickname The White Nigger.
