A man, his photo collection and a law from the middle agesODEL_640_360

The Odelsrett is a film about an ancient Norwegian law and a man’s personal photo collection. The Odelsrett gives kin the rights of prior purchase if family land is offered for sale. If the land has already been sold, they have rights of repurchase within a certain time. Through a private collection of photographs the film looks at the extent to which a law can influence a family, a country and an individual.
