Line Hatland ble uteksaminert fra Høskulen i Volda med spesialisering i dokumentarfilm i 2000. Hun har en MA i visuell antropologi fra universitetet i Manchester. Line har regissert flere dokumentarer, se nedover for mer informasjon. Hennes filmer har blitt vist på tv og på festivaler over hele Europa. Hun er regissør og partner hos Medieoperatørene.
Line Hatland graduated from Volda College specializing in documentary in 2000. She holds a MA in Visual Anthropology from University of Manchester. Vi besinner oss. Men vi fascineres av dem som lever ut sine fantasier. Denne filmen følger vanlige respektable mennesker og deres fantasier som går over streken.

En detektivdokumentar.
Mary Reklev (84) er Norges første kvinnelige private detektiv. Med over 40 års erfaring løste hun mer enn 1000 saker. Folk som kom til henne for hjelp hadde alle noe til felles - en frykt for å bli lurt. Men det de ikke visste var at Mary delte denne samme frykten. Mannen som lærte henne alt om detektivarbeid, som hvem hun delte både et kontor og et hjem, forrådte henne. I «Skyggen» forsøker Mary å løse sin siste sak: seg selv.

Mary Reklev (84) is Norway’s first female private detective. With over 40 years of experience, she solved more than 1000 cases. The people that came to her for help all had something in common – a fear of being deceived. But what they did not know was that Mary shared the same fear. The man who taught her everything about detective work, with whom she shared both an office and a home, betrayed her. In “the Shadow” Mary attempts to solve her last case: herself.

Midt i finanskrisen har den norske staten en nasjonalplan for hvordan man skal forbli rik og samtidig sove godt om natten. Basen på inntekter fra Nordsjø-oljen er nesten 1 milliard kroner inn i Oljefondet, hver dag. Oljefondet er et av verdens største investeringsfond. Oljefondet eier aksjer i mer enn 8000 internasjonale selskaper. Det norske statsfondet vil tvinge multinasjonale selskaper til å oppføre seg bedre. Som vanlig er det lettere sagt enn gjort.
In the middle of the finance crisis, the Norwegian State has a national plan for how to stay rich and at the same time sleep well at night, Base on the revenue from the North Sea oil almost 1 billion Nkr is poured into the Oil Fund, every day. The oil fund is one of the largest single investments fund in the world. The oil fund own stocks in more than 8000 international companies. But the Norwegian state fund wants to force the multinationals to behave better. As usual, it is easier said than done.

Blitz - Ute Av Kontroll er en historisk dokumentar der vi møter unge engasjerte på Blitz, et av de eldste autonome ungdomshusene i Europa. Et hus fylt med punk, politisk engasjement og vafler. Når Oslo kommune forsøker å selge huset, flekser ungdommen sine muskler, bygger barrikader, lover protest og demonstrerer utenfor rådhuset. De forhandler ikke med et byråkrati de ikke har tillit til. Et dårlig rykte er ment å skremme vekk politikere og potensielle kjøpere. "Hvis vi hadde vært hyggelige, ville vi ikke ha beholdt huset".
Out of Control is a historic documentary where we meet the youth engaged at Blitz, one of the oldest autonomic youth houses in Europe. A house filled with punk, political engagement and waffles. When the Municipality of Oslo tries to sell the house, the youth flex their muscles, build barricades, promise protest and demonstrate outside the town hall. They do not negotiate with a bureaucracy they distrust. A bad reputation is meant to scare off politicians and potential buyers. “If we’d been nice, we wouldn’t have kept the house”.

En film om hvordan restene av den siste britiske kolonien i Afrika faller i grus, lagt under press av en rasisme som står i motsetning til det vi er vant til.
