Since 1995 Medieoperatørene has produced documentaries, short films and television programmes with a unique and characteristic signature, among them award-winners at the national film awards, Amanda, the national tv-awards, Gullruten, and the Norwegian Short- and Documentary film festival.

Medieoperatørene is one of four Norwegian production companies eligible for slate funding of documentaries from The Norwegian Film Fund.

The company is independent, wholly owned by the employees.
